Dave Bautista, Ella Purnell, and Omari Hardwick Star in Post-Apocalyptic Thriller
Netflix is set to release Zack Snyder's highly anticipated zombie heist film, Army of the Dead, on May 21. The post-apocalyptic thriller follows a group of mercenaries who venture into a quarantined Las Vegas to pull off the ultimate heist amidst a zombie outbreak.
The film stars Dave Bautista as Scott Ward, a former war hero tasked with leading the mission. Ella Purnell plays his daughter, Kate, a skilled sharpshooter. Omari Hardwick portrays Vanderohe, a loyal and resourceful mechanic. Ana de la Reguera joins the cast as Maria Cruz, a tough-as-nails nurse.
Army of the Dead marks Snyder's return to the zombie genre after his successful remake of Dawn of the Dead in 2004. The film promises to be a high-octane action-packed thrill ride with plenty of gore and suspense.
